On October 9th, 2020, CLP Power Hong Kong will organize a webinar that focuses on procuring Renewable Energy (RE) Certificates. CLP Power Hong Kong states that major investors and corporates have enacted policies requiring energy procurement strategies and commitments for themselves and those they interact with. As a result, there is a need for clear information about how corporates can procure RE according to international best practices.

The International REC Standard Foundation (I-REC Standard) will speak together with CLP Power Hong Kong about what renewable energy procurement is, what RE procurement options are available, and what the importance of RE Certificates is. The role of RE Certificates adhering to the I-REC Standard, also known as I-RECs, will be discussed in detail by the two speakers.

The webinar is freely accessible for everyone and participants will be able to engage with the speakers during a Q&A session.
