Ed is the CEO of Evident. With over 25 years of experience in energy and environmental markets, he was a participant in the RECS Test Phase from 1998, a founding member of the Association of Issuing Bodies in 2002, and a national representative for several countries until 2015, advisor to the UK Government on the Renewables Obligation, and advisor to the European Commission on the Guarantee of Origin. A former director with multinational engineering and environmental consultants Ramboll, Ed has also been Chief Finance Officer for many power project developers and advised businesses, banks, and governments on energy markets and project viability. As advisor or operator, he has been responsible for the implementation of verification services for renewable energy production in over 20 countries outside of Europe.
