With 20+ years of experience in the environmental scenario, Alexandre Fachin has worked at Petrobras since 2001 as an environmental engineer. At Petrobras, he has served in several roles, including Corporate Environmental General Manager and Environmental Sustainability and Energy Efficiency General Manager. Nowadays, Alexandre is responsible for the Downstream Operations Decarbonization in Petrobras Climate Change and Decarbonization area. Alexandre Fachin holds an MBA in Cleaner Production and Ecobusiness from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and an Executive MBA from COPPEAD/UFRJ, the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He has been a Chemical Engineer from the UFRGS since 1997.
