Enam Akoetey-Eyiah

Enam Akoetey-Eyiah leads the growth and adoption of the International Tracking Standard Foundation: Founder of I-REC (I-TRACK Foundation) in Africa. She is working to leverage existing regional electricity power pools to establish single regional EAC markets across Africa and champion I-REC(E) for distributed and dispersed renewable energy devices to promote energy access, security, and just energy transition and democratize payments from ecosystem benefits.  

Enam has worked in development, sustainability, and environment for various organizations across the United Kingdom and Africa since 1998; Enam is the first Ghanaian woman to start a tree planting initiative that successfully equipped communities with inputs to raise over 500,000 seedlings for distribution to schools, communities, and agroforestry farms. Enam has worked with the Ghana government and the World Bank to replace 6 million incandescent with CFLs to conserve 254MW of peak demand and avert an energy crisis. She also developed a programmatic CDM- CFL4All energy efficiency project.

In recent years, Enam has worked on the first GHG Protocol – Scope 2 corporate greenhouse gas report in Sub-Saharan Africa, the Africa Policy and Programs Department of Christian Aid on advocacy projects such as the Africa-EU Economic Partnership Agreement and hugely successful campaigns such as ‘Trade Justice’ and ‘Make Poverty History.’ She has also championed inclusive development by encouraging and initiating partnerships with environmentally and socially driven businesses that did ‘good’ in Africa

Wa'el Almazeedi

Wa’el Almazeedi is Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Avance Labs.  He acquired his energy, project financing and technology commercialization experience working in the oil, gas, and electricity industries, multilateral development, and private equity, while stationed in (in alphabetic order): Boston, Dubai, Hong Kong, Kuwait, London, Yokohama, and Washington, D.C.

He is a recipient of the 2006 EY Entrepreneur of the YearTM Award in the Energy Category for the New England Region of the USA and currently serves on several national and bilateral hydrogen and energy transition committees in the MENA region.

Avance Labs is a global data-driven hydrogen accelerator spearheading the development of a universal energy attribute tracking and certification scheme for hydrogen and hydrogen derivative fuels and products accredited by the I-Track Standard Foundation (formerly the I-REC Standard Foundation) and enabled by data science and the Internet of things (IoT).

William Barrett

William Barrett is the Vice President of Product Development at 1PointFive, LLC. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University with magna cum laude honors in 1988, and an MBA with concentration in International Business from the University of St. Thomas. William is a registered professional engineer in the State of Texas and serves on the University of Houston’s Petroleum Engineering Advisory Board. Achievements in his 36 years of industry experience include managing activities resulting in secure geologic storage of CO2 in the largest CO2 enhanced oil recovery (EOR) operation in the world. Mr. Barrett has been involved in all aspects of the CO2 business including CO2 supply, transportation, and carbon capture, utilization and storage. He has extensive experience and knowledge in selection of secure geologic storage sites and the design and application of monitoring, verification and reporting (MRV) programs. Mr. Barrett played a part in the U.S. NPC’s 2019 publication “Meeting the Dual Challenge, A Roadmap to At-Scale Deployment of Carbon Capture, Use, and Storage”. In his current role, William is involved with efforts to advance leading-edge, low-carbon technologies and business solutions, as well as supporting the life cycle analysis for carbon emissions in different processes.

Jared Braslawsky

Jared Braslawsky is a leading expert on the use, implementation, and functionality of attribute tracking systems such as the United States REC, European Guarantee of Origin (GO), and the global International Tracking Standard Foundation (formerly I-REC Standard) adherent certificates [I-REC(E)]. He has held leading positions with GO industry organizations such as RECS International and currently holds the role of Executive Director of the I-TRACK Foundation.

Jared’s expertise has been used in a technical capacity by organizations such as RE100, CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project), the Association of Issuing Bodies (AIB), RE-DISS II, CEN/CENELEC, the European Commission, the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (under WRI), Energy Peace Partners, D-REC Initiative, Gold Standard, Energy Web Foundation, the Energy Tag Initiative, and many others. Beyond this, he frequently supports governmental and legislative policy creation around the globe. Jared dedicates time to speaking at public events on corporate carbon accounting, Scope 2 emission, and GO tracking market design. He is also regularly contacted by market players making use of these markets for questions and insights into the credible and robust use of GO markets around the world.

Travis Caddy is the Business Development Director at Evident, working directly with the CEO in relation to strategy, partnerships, and innovation. In his previous role, Travis was the Product Development Manager for C-Capsule, one of Evident’s emergent registries for durable Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR). Travis has played an important role in Evident’s expansion and diversification into multiple registries beyond its primary product, the I-REC for Electricity, [I-REC(E)]. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Geography from University College London.

Julie Casabianca

Julie leads 3Degrees’ global renewable energy-related policy engagement, working directly with government agencies, NGOs, and trade associations to track and analyze changes to regulations and standards that impact corporate carbon reduction strategies. Her focus is on promoting policies to advance clean energy and commodity markets outside of North America, particularly for scope 3 decarbonization. Prior to 3Degrees, Julie led development of resources and training opportunities to accelerate corporate procurement of renewable energy and supply chain decarbonization at the Clean Energy Buyers Association. 

Julie brings over 15 years of experience in renewable energy and international development. She previously served as a clean energy consultant for the Asian Development Bank, where she worked with governments in Southeast Asia to identify, finance, and monitor clean energy projects and programs. She also has experience supporting USAID-funded clean energy programs. Julie holds a Master of Regional Planning from Cornell University and bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Dance from Shenandoah University.

Hallie Cramer

Hallie is a data-driven leader passionate about accelerating the clean energy transition. She currently leads technical standards and data democratization efforts for Google’s Climate team, unlocking the use of data and software for grid decarbonization. Hallie began her career in energy consulting at the Brattle Group and enhanced her analytics chops as a data scientist at a San Francisco start-up before joining Google in 2019. At Google, she helped establish the data infrastructure and tools to measure, track, and forecast their 24/7 Carbon-Free Energy program. Hallie holds a B.S. in Economics from Duke University and a Masters in Energy Policy and Climate from Johns Hopkins University.

Killian Daly

Killian runs EnergyTag’s, a non-profit focused on enabling the granular electricity accounting that will transform what it means for companies and products like hydrogen to be 100% clean. Alongside the world’s top experts, Killian led the process of drafting the EnergyTag Standard, which created the Granular Certificate, a robust hourly energy attribute tracking. The Standard is supported by hundreds of organisations including dozens of the world’s leading sustainability players. EnergyTag regularly advises governments on why and how their carbon accounting frameworks should be reformed. Prior to joining EnergyTag, Killian managed global energy strategy at Air Liquide, one of the world’s largest hydrogen producers. Killian holds a Masters degree in Energy Technologies from the University of Cambridge.

Oleg is a Regional Director for the International Tracking Standard Foundation: Founder of I-REC (I-TRACK Foundation) with a focus on stakeholder support and market building in the EAC development for the Middle East & Central Asia. He is facilitating governments, renewable energy producers, and consumers across these regions in the development of voluntary markets and EAC standardization. Oleg is the active lead on the Research & Development and the CDR certification at the I-TRACK Foundation. He has a track record of market development in his previous engagements within environmental commodity trading. 

Ed Everson

Ed is the CEO of Evident. With over 25 years of experience in energy and environmental markets, he was a participant in the RECS Test Phase from 1998, a founding member of the Association of Issuing Bodies in 2002, and a national representative for several countries until 2015, advisor to the UK Government on the Renewables Obligation, and advisor to the European Commission on the Guarantee of Origin.

A former director with multinational engineering and environmental consultants Ramboll, Ed has also been Chief Finance Officer for many power project developers and advised businesses, banks, and governments on energy markets and project viability. As advisor or operator, he has been responsible for the implementation of verification services for renewable energy production in over 20 countries outside of Europe.

Luciano Figueredo

Elbia Gannoum

Elbia is a mother of three and an active contributor to the global debate on diversity and economic inclusion in the energy sector. Leading ABEEólica for more than a decade, she defends the idea of ​​transforming the Brazilian energy sector and has been strongly contributing to the development of renewable energies and new technologies. She is co-founder of “Energia da Transformação”, a collaborative platform to promote diversity and social inclusion in the energy sector. In 2019, she received the “C3E – Clean Energy Education & Empowerment – Woman of Distinction Award”, an international initiative of the Clean Energy Ministerial and the International Energy Agency (IEA). She is a global ambassador for Brazil in the WomeninWind Global Leadership Program (GWEC-GWNET), designed to accelerate the careers of women in the wind industry. Elbia holds an Economist degree and a Phd in Engineering. She has a career of more than 20 years in the energy sector. She accumulated experiences at CCEE, Ministry of Mines and Energy, Ministry of Finance and at ANEEL. With books and articles published, Elbia is a specialist in Electricity Regulation and Markets, working in the area since 1998.

Ben Gerber

Benjamin Gerber is the President and Chief Executive Officer of M-RETS. Under his leadership, M-RETS developed and successfully implemented an industry leading environmental attribute registry. Initially, this allowed M-RETS to increase its footprint from 15 states and Manitoba to all North America. The M-RETS platform brings unprecedented innovation to the industry as well as access to data in pioneering ways such as hourly production data and peak period production data. Under his leadership, M-RETS achieved the first of its kind hourly REC claim in collaboration with Google, where it was a focus on the Google Cloud Blog.

M-RETS recently launched a renewable thermal tracking system. This first of its kind system in North America facilitates market transparency, liquidity, and prevents double counting by issuing a unique, traceable digital certificate for every dekatherm produced by renewable thermal technology. M-RETS users retire certificates to comply with state policy or to serve the voluntary market and to ensure that certificates are not double-counted.

Ben attended the University of Michigan where he graduated with a degree in political science. He graduated from William Mitchell College of law and is admitted to the Minnesota State and Federal Bar. Ben is a sought-after speaker on issues related to environmental commodities as well as innovation in the utility sector. He has been published by energy news outlets such as Utility Dive, Greentech Media, and Forbes and appeared as a guest on local and national media and conferences to discuss renewable energy, decarbonization, and the role of technology and innovation in the utility sector.

Hans Andreas Götze

Hans supports some of the world’s largest brands to achieve deep decarbonization across their supply chains. He is responsible for the implementation of the Lock23 auditing protocol—a new tool that enables brands to link their Scope 3 emission reductions to Scope 2 decarbonization across their supply chains. In his capacity as Operations Director, Hans is responsible for ensuring the Lock23 protocol meets brand/supplier needs and is recognized by the major reporting frameworks(CDP, RE100, etc.). Hans has nearly a decade of experience working as an interpreter, delegate, and IT-specialist for the International Committee of the Red Cross, and is an expert in project management with high-level interlocutors.

Vladimir Grigorov

Vladimir Grigorov is the Head of Trading for I-REC and all non-EU/US renewable energy certificates at STX Group. He is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and leads and coordinates the trading activities of EACs in close cooperation with Strive by STX, the corporate climate action arm of STX Group and the STX origination and sales teams across the globe, with a focus on Singapore and Mexico.

Vladimir joined STX Group in 2022 and prior to that he gained extensive knowledge in energy commodity trading and renewables with a 14-year career as a European Power Trader at two of the largest European Utilities, Vattenfall and Eneco.

Vladimir holds a Global Energy MBA degree from Warwick University, UK, and has a degree in business administration and economics from Eberhard-Karls University in Tuebingen, Germany. 

Andreas Gunst

Andreas is a Partner in the energy and infrastructure finance group of DLA Piper, one of the largest international law firms. Andreas has created various mandates setting up renewable energy support or certificate schemes, including for IREC, AIB, EBRD, WB, IBRD, GIZ, Energy Community, European Commission. He offers a diverse practice for sponsors, corporates, generators, and utilities for financially and physically settled PPAs, Route to Market Agreements, Balancing Services Agreements, BESS Dispatch and Optimisation Agreements. 

Andreas has established market-leading work on biofuel, biomethane, and bioLNG, as well as RFNBO and hydrogen projects and offtake agreements as well as SAF and biofuel in-setting projects. Jie Hao

Dr. Jie Hao is a leader in the development of green gas standards, math modeling in climate solutions, green finance, and enviromental commodities market development in China. With a strong foundation in mathematics, Dr. Hao spearheads the mathematical modeling for China’s Carbon Emission Market. Dr. Jie Hao is former CEO of China Provincial (Hebei)Carbon Emission Exchange. Dr. Hao is a co-author for the textbook “Carbon Management Systems and Practices for Public Institutions” and has contributed as a co-author to two significant green gas accounting standards: “Requirements and User Guide for Carbon Management Systems” and the “National Public Institution Carbon Management System Industry Standard (Sep. 2024).” This latter standard is set to be implemented across 1.6 million public institutions in China. Dr. Hao served as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Carbon Neutrality Committee of the China Energy Conservation Association and as the Director of the China Globalization Think-Tank. Additionally, he has been the Executive Vice President of the US-China Business Council. Dr. Jie Hao has been a guest professor and invited lecturer at several renowned institutions, including Peking University’s Guanghua School of Management, the Harbin Institute of Technology, Renmin University, and Tec de Monterrey.

Benjamin Herrera Vergara

He is an electricity market professional with 15 years of experience advising investors, utilities, regulators, and multilateral entities. Benjamin holds an Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Chile and a master’s in finance from Cambridge University. 

Jen-Wee Kang

Jen-Wee is an industry veteran in the renewable sector, with a demonstrated history of working in the environmental services industry and 15 years of deep understanding of the entire Solar value chain, assuming Sales/Business development roles from upstream equipment makers (Applied Materials) to downstream project development and electricity retailing (REC Solar). He founded REDEX (formally T-RECs.ai) in 2018, after seeing the gap between corporate RE buyers and RE generators, particularly in Asia. A long-term RE corporate power purchase agreement is not readily available and Renewable Energy Certificates (or RECs) are the only feasible and most efficient and impactful option to achieve their Scope 2 neutral goal. Jen Wee is building the necessary IT infrastructure for an ESG-focused world. His flagship product, REHash, is on its way to becoming Asia’s largest RECs marketplace, providing price transparency for RECs across 9 countries. 

Zhenlan Lee

Zhenlan Lee is the Country Manager of China for the International Tracking Standard Foundation: Founder of I-REC (I-TRACK Foundation) in China and a senior expert in Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) and carbon assets. She has 15 years of extensive experience in renewable energy project development, REC trading, and carbon asset consultancy. Zhenlan is recognized as one of the earliest international experts in China’s carbon market, having been involved in nearly 60 carbon credit projects including CDM/VCS/GS/CCER/GCC.

Over the past decade, she has contributed to capacity building, training, and overall growth within China’s carbon market. Her expertise encompasses mechanism construction, policies, and transactions within China’s carbon market. She has also participated in research projects such as the Feasibility Study on the “Wenzhou Carbon Fund Mechanism” and “the Implementation Plan for Carbon Peak of Jiangxi Salt Industry Group.” Additionally, she has delivered lectures at prestigious universities including Tsinghua University’s School of Economics and Management on topics like “Carbon Asset Trading and Management,” as well as at Fudan University’s Sustainable Development Research Center on “Green Electricity and Green Certificate Policies Markets Transactions.”

With her expertise in RECs, Zhenlan will provide professional perspectives on I-RECs, GEC (China Green Electricity Certificate), green electricity markets coordinating with China’s industry transformation.

Verónica Lizana

Verónica Lizana is Corporate Development Manager at SCX, Santiago Climate Exchange, a private organisation that develops and manages certification standards to support companies’ decarbonisation strategies. Verónica is a professional specialist in climate change and sustainability, with experience advising investors, governments, and companies. She has been a senior consultant for the Ministries of Environment and Natural Resources in Latin America and multilateral cooperation institutions such as the World Bank, IDB, and GIZ. She is a civil industrial engineer from the University of Chile and an MBA from the University of Adolfo Ibáñez, with specialisations at PUC and UCLA.

Fernando G. Lopes

Fernando Giachini Lopes is the Executive Director and founder of Instituto Totum, the certification body responsible for the I-REC(E) energy certificates in Brazil, as well as the worldwide Code Manager for the Biomethane Certificate – GAS-REC / I-TRACK(G). He is also responsible for designing, developing, and managing various self-regulation programs in energy, safety, food, financial services, and Greenhouse Gas inventory verification services. Engineer and Master in Production Engineering from USP, specializing in Quality Management from the University of Tennessee, and in the years 2019 to 2022 was chosen as one of the 100 most influential people in the energy area.

Eessa Mansoor

Eessa, the Product Manager for I-REC(E) at Evident, oversees the product’s vision, strategy and priorities but also plays a pivotal role in bringing innovative solutions to market. With a keen focus on ensuring a robust and reliable registry as a definitive source of record, Eessa is deeply committed to the customer experience and advocacy. Eessa’s background is rooted in the renewable sector, boasting expertise in business strategy, solar projects and the formulation of energy buying strategies for major multinationals, with a focus on hedging electricity, gas and EUA / UKAs. Eessa obtained a B.Sc. in Environmental Science and an M.Sc. in Environmental and Energy Engineering from the University of Sheffield. He knows the ins and outs of the GO system in Europe, having been both responsible for the Norwegian Energy Certificate System (NECS) and the board chairperson at the Association of Issuing Bodies (AiB). Ivar now works at Ecohz, where he is responsible for Business Development and delivery. Ecohz has for the past 20 years been a pioneer in the world of renewable energy, providing our clients with renewable energy certificates all over the world.

Maria De La Cruz is an accomplished executive with over 25 years of experience in the energy sector. She has held leadership roles in various organizations spanning trade associations, non-profits, development banks, and public institutions in Chile and the UK. Maria is deeply committed to promoting renewable energy and clean fuels, such as green hydrogen, and possesses a keen understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with the energy transition. Currently serving as a Board Member of the Green Hydrogen Organization, she is actively involved in initiatives aimed at accelerating the global development of the hydrogen industry. Maria Paz played a pivotal role in establishing the Chilean Hydrogen Association, achieving significant growth and recognition both domestically and internationally. Her dedication to combating climate change is evident through her work promoting renewable electricity certificates and advising on energy efficiency and renewable energy programs. Maria Paz’s leadership extends to her tenure as Executive Director of the National Center for Innovation and Promotion for Sustainable Energies (CIFES) in Chile, where she played a key role in fostering the growth of the renewable energy industry. Maria Paz also serves as a Director of the I-TRACK Foundation and Pherousa Green Shipping. Angus Rich

Angus brings over 25 years of technical and commercial experience in the resources and energy sector to his role as an Executive Director at Oakley Greenwood (OGW) in Australia, a company that became the local issuer for the International Renewable Energy Certificate (IREC) in 2022 which is being successfully deployed adjacent to the National regulatory scheme.  OGW is renowned for its expert consultancy services, offering economic, regulatory, policy, and commercial advice to the gas and electricity sectors across Australia and Asia.

Together with key OGW members, Angus is deeply involved in advancing the biogas and biomethane markets in Australia, aligning with the country’s goal to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.

Before his tenure at OGW, Angus significantly contributed to Energy Developments Limited, focusing on power projects worldwide with an emphasis on landfill gas and remote generation projects. He played a pivotal role in pioneering virtual gas pipeline projects, including the launch of the first triple road train compressed natural gas (CNG) virtual pipeline connecting Alice Springs and Yulara (Ayers Rock).

During his career, Angus has developed areas of expertise and core competencies covering:

– Project and business development of technical opportunities in the area of power generation, gas projects, and carbon abatement

– Due diligence advice and technical studies

– Financial and economic assessment of prospective projects  

– Advice on Power Purchase Agreements, Connection Agreements, and contract negotiations

Svenja Telle

Svenja is the Director of Origination at Base Carbon, advancing project opportunities from concept to execution in a cross-vertical approach. She oversees community engagement strategies and co-benefit monitoring in project origination, selection, diligence, financial structuring, and registration. Her focus also includes scaling emerging carbon removal technologies. Svenja is also an advisory council member to C-Capsule, a policy expert to the Paris Agreement 6.4 Mechanism, and holds other advisory and board roles.

As a former Director at a Direct Air Capture startup and analyst at PitchBook, she contributed to extensive financial research covering carbon value chains, carbon utilization, and ESG. She further holds a doctoral research fellowship at the Gund Institute for Environment and served as a climate policy advisor at the United Nations HQ where she gained deep insight into carbon markets and regulatory processes.

Rachael Terada

Rachael Terada is the Head of Clean Energy Programs for the Center for Resource Solutions (CRS), a nongovernmental organization that promotes policy and market solutions to advance sustainable energy. She manages expert assistance initiatives for the organization and brings over 15 years of experience working in renewable energy markets. Rachael leads advisory service engagements on impactful renewable energy procurement goals and initiatives, clean energy verification, renewable energy certificate (REC) tracking system initiatives, and market development research for corporate and institutional renewable energy buyers, electric service providers, grid operators, and policymakers. She earned her M.S. and B.S. degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

Michael Tsang, Ph.D.

Michael is the Chief Carbon and Sustainability Officer at Avance Labs (‘Avance’) which is based out of Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.  Avance is the Code Manager for the I-TRACK (HX) for Hydrogen and Hydrogen Derivatives, which was accredited by the I-TRACK Foundation in 2023. Michael’s primary responsibilities are ensuring that the code and certification process adheres to best international practice for product-level carbon accounting and life-cycle assessment.

Michael is also the Owner and Principal Consultant at Three Pillars Consulting (‘TPC’), an environmental and sustainability services company based in the Sultanate of Oman. TPC is the local accredited issuer for I-TRACK Electricity Certificates (‘I-REC (E)’) in Oman.

Michael has 13+ years of experience in the fields of environmental sciences, sustainability, and public health and how they are related to sustainable production and consumption within industry. Prior to these roles, Michael was a contract-consultant to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (ACE) Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), in the department of Risk and Decision Sciences. There he worked on risk assessments, life-cycle assessments, and multi-criteria decision analysis for low-carbon energy sources such as biofuels and mitigation strategies for the civil engineering sectors. Michael was also a Research Fellow at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Washington, D.C. within the Office of Research and Development’s (ORD) Chemical Safety for Sustainability (CSS) program. There, he worked on building life-cycle inventory datasets and life-cycle assessment models for emerging chemicals and technologies (e.g. nanomaterials).

Paulo Emílio Valadão de Miranda

Professor Paulo Emilio V. de Miranda is a full professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, UFRJ, and head of the Hydrogen Laboratory at the Alberto Luiz Coimbra Institute for Graduate Studies and Research in Engineering, Coppe/UFRJ. He holds a PhD, MSc, and BSc in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering obtained at UFRJ, and post-doctorate works developed at the Ecole Centrale de Paris and the Université de Paris-Sud, France. He has published more than 70 articles in peer-reviewed journals. He holds 15 patents and has advised several BSc, MSc, and PhD students.

Professor de Miranda works on the development of materials, technologies, and devices for the adoption of hydrogen energy. One of his main research lines is on the development of specialty anodes for solid oxide fuel cells that allow the direct utilization of either methane or ethanol as fuels, impeding carbon coking and clogging without any pre-reforming treatment. Another important research line of his is on the development of hybrid electric-hydrogen fuel cell plug-in buses.  He is President of the Brazilian Hydrogen Association, a member of the Board of Directors of the International Association for Hydrogen Energy, a Brazilian representative at the International Partnership for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells in the Economy, a member of the International Advisory Board of the European Fuel Cell Forum, member of Engie’s International Scientific Council and Editor-in-Chief of the scientific journal Materia.

Roble Poe Velasco Rosenheim

Roble has a decade of experience supporting clean energy development in Asia and the Pacific. He is the Director of Global Partnerships and APAC for the International Tracking Standard Foundation: Founder of I-REC (I-TRACK Foundation), and the founder of SuSca Group. Through these roles, he supports governments, utilities, IPPs, and Fortune 500 companies to transact clean energy in line with the I-TRACK Foundation’s International Attribute Tracking Standard.

Roble’s work focuses on market building in the EAC space. Recently, he has supported governments and utilities across Southeast Asia to engage with the I-REC Standard Foundation. This has enabled the development of EAC markets across the region, and has supported dozens of brands and their supply chains to meet renewable energy targets in line with the RE100, Science Based Targets initiative, and other major reporting frameworks.

Previously, Roble helped process large-scale infrastructure projects for the Asia Development Bank and other development partners in the region. He is passionate about bridging public and private sector interests to support high-yield, low-carbon economic growth.

Katrien Verwimp

With 20+ years of experience in energy certificate system management and design, Katrien, Founder of Enunda bv, is helping energy-tracking system facilitators worldwide with the optimization and auditability of their certification scheme.

Katrien is the strategy coordinator for the European Energy Certificate System in the Association of Issuing Bodies (AIB), which in Europe sets a standard for guarantees of origin for various energy carriers like electricity, gas, and hydrogen. She is the coordinator of the EECS Gas Scheme Group and chairs AIB’s auditors’ team.

She also helps quality-assuring and updating the EnergyTag standard for granular certificates that facilitate the temporal and geographical matching of electricity production and consumption. She feeds standardization tracks in CEN and ISO with expertise in energy origin tracking. Through the Enunda Academy, she provides masterclasses & trainings on energy origin tracking.

Before 2020, she worked with VREG, as the electricity and gas regulator in Flanders-Belgium, issuing body and disclosure supervisory competent body as ‘Coordinator – Origin of energy’.

Bradley Way

Mr. Way serves as a Strategy and New Markets Advisor to the I-TRACK Foundation, based in Asia. His background includes 12 years based in Beijing financing Asia-wide energy assets with BNP Paribas, followed by 2 years in Saudi Aramco’s Headquarters working in New Business Development, and 10 years in Hong Kong managing the corporate power purchase agreement business for a global renewable energy developer. He is fluent in Mandarin, holds an MBA, an MSc in Renewable Energy Generation, and an Engineering PhD focused on Power System Modernization. Mr. Way supports the I-TRACK Foundation globally in a variety of issues across various geographies, technologies, and policies.    

Adam White

Adam White is the Secretary-General of RECS Energy Certificate Association, a non-profit foundation representing the users of energy attribute certificates including renewable energy producers, traders, and consumers. As RECS’ Secretary-General, Adam works to: 

1. Give organizations and individuals the knowledge, motivation, and confidence to buy 100% renewable energy; 

2. Advocate for the development and implementation of legislation that supports and encourages renewable energy procurement, and; 

3. Guide RECS’s strategic development and manage the planning and delivery of its programs and activities 

Before joining RECS Adam worked for the WWF European Policy Office as a Senior Research Coordinator on Climate and Energy, and before coming to Brussels Adam worked as a researcher for elected members of the UK Parliament and the London Assembly. 

Maide Yilmaz

Maide Yılmaz is the Operations Manager at Foton Energy, serving as the Local IREC Issuer for Turkiye within the International Tracking Standard Foundation. With a background in renewable energy systems, she obtained her bachelor’s degree in energy systems engineering.

Over the past two years, she has directed her efforts toward the registration of renewable energy power plants within the IREC system and managing issuance processes in Turkiye. Simultaneously, she has taken on the responsibility of managing compliance processes and has been dedicated to enhancing ISO management systems.

Currently, she is deeply engaged in developing methodologies for Foton ECO Labeling Programs, a product of Foton Energy. Her focus is specifically directed towards companies that procure 100% renewable energy, developing methodologies for labeling to enhance its effectiveness.
