The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) and the International REC Standard Foundation (I-REC Standard) are signing the Local Issuer Agreement on October 8th. Upon the signing of the agreement, EGAT will be the official issuer of I-RECs in Thailand.

Due to the current international traveling restrictions, the I-REC Standard will attend the ceremony through a virtual connection. The signing of the agreement by EGAT is part of the Thailand Clean Energy Network 2020 event that will take place at the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel.
