*Since the date of this news item’s publication, the organization ‘The International REC Standard Foundation’ has changed to ‘The International Tracking Standard Foundation: Founder of I-REC (I-TRACK Foundation).’
The Residual Mix Deadline for the January to June 2021 production on 31 May 2022 is quickly approaching.
This new deadline was approved by the I-REC Standard Foundation Board following the consultation on implementing a rolling Residual Mix Deadline (RMD) conducted between 4 November and 1 December 2021. The results of the consultation were for two deadlines per year.
As such, the new deadlines are as follows:

| January – June | May 31 |
| July – December | September 30 |
These deadlines are a long-term, more permanent solution approved by the I-REC Standard Foundation Board for Issuers and Registrants alike that aims to provide a more manageable workflow for all stakeholders.
