Meet the I-REC Standard Foundation at the International REAsia Conference in Bangkok

*Since the date of this news item’s publication, the organization ‘The International REC Standard Foundation’ has changed to ‘The International Tracking Standard Foundation: Founder of I-REC (I-TRACK Foundation).’

 

The I-REC Standard Foundation will be joining the International REAsia Conference (part of Asean Sustainable Energy Week) from 14 to 16 September 2022 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Roble Poe Velasco-Rosenheim, the Regional Director of Southeast Asia will represent the I-REC Standard in the Opening Plenary Session on day 1. This session titled ‘Accelerating the Transition to Carbon Neutrality in ASEAN’ will take place from 10.30 – 12.30 hrs (GMT+7)

Roble is looking forward to sharing the I-REC Standard’s view on renewable market design, implementation and growth. His presentation will cover the development of renewable electricity markets for corporate buyers in Asia—focusing on how RECs are being used to support renewable power procurement, ranging from unbundled certificates transactions to long-term power purchase agreements.
