SP Group and the International REC Standard jointly organized the I-REC forum on October 31 in Singapore. There is a growing interest in tracking systems in South East Asia (SEA) and the Secretary General of the International REC Standard was pleased to see so much interest and awareness for developing this under an international recognized standard to enable reliable claims by avoiding double issuance or double claiming of renewable energy sources.
