Evident, the I-REC(E) Code Manager and Registry Operator, is conducting a consultation on the Enhanced Market Transparency Services.
Evident is committed to creating a more efficient and transparent I-REC(E) ecosystem, but they need your input to inform their direction. Over the past two years, Participants, Beneficiaries, and Registrants have voiced challenges in connecting with potential transaction partners. Evident is exploring several options to enhance transparency across the I-REC(E) registry to address these concerns and improve how the market operates.
Evident, with the support of the I-TRACK Foundation, invites all stakeholders, whether Participants, Registrants, Beneficiaries, or Accredited Market Platforms, to provide feedback on proposed transparency services that could help you better navigate the market.
Why Your Feedback Matters
Increased transparency has the potential to:
- Improve the visibility of supply and demand.
- Make it easier to discover potential transaction partners.
- Strengthen the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the I-REC(E) market.
Your insights will help to fine-tune proposed services to meet the needs of all market actors, ensuring that any changes benefit the community without undermining competition or confidentiality.
Consultation Focus
The consultation outlines several options to enhance market transparency, including:
- An Enhanced Participant Directory for better partner identification.
- Advanced Search and Discovery Tools within the Evident registry.
