Since Russia has been included as authorized issuance country for I-RECs, many organizations have started the process of registering their devices in the country – increasing the supply side of I-RECs in Russia.

The demand side for I-RECs that were issued in Russia seems to be growing too. Whilst many end-users are familiar with what I-RECs are, not all end-users with electricity consumption in Russia are familiar with the I-REC Standard.
