The Board of the International REC Standard Foundation (I-REC Standard) has approved IRAM (Instituto Argentino de Normalización y Certificación) to coordinate further on their preparations to become the local issuer in Argentina. IRAM is an independent, not-for-profit association that has experience in ISO and other Standardization processes.

Argentinian devices can be registered following the development of the Local Working Instructions (LWI) by IRAM. This internal document explains the issuance process that will guarantee a robust EAC scheme in Argentina.

The I-REC Standard is very pleased with IRAM taking over the role of local issuer to facilitate a robust scheme in Argentina.
