I-TRACK Foundation Showcases I-TRACK(G) at 2nd Green Gas Innovation Forum 2026

The I-TRACK Foundation participated in the 2nd Green Gas Innovation Forum 2026, held from 16–17 June in China, which brought together more than 400 stakeholders from government regulatory authorities, shipping companies, energy enterprises, scientific research institutes, and financial institutions.

During the plenary session, the I-TRACK(G) Code for Biogas and Biomethane (I-TRACK(G) Code) was introduced, highlighting its role as part of the I-TRACK Foundation’s International Attribute Tracking Standard. The I-TRACK(G) Code provides a standardized framework for the issuance, transfer, and redemption of certificates for biogas and biomethane, supporting consistent and credible renewable gas attribute tracking across markets.

The 2nd Green Gas Innovation Forum 2026 featured in-depth discussions on key themes, including gas investment and financing, technological innovation, and green carbon certification, reflecting the growing momentum toward standardized and transparent renewable gas markets.

The introduction of I-TRACK(G) at the event provided an opportunity for the I-TRACK Foundation to engage with a broad range of stakeholders and further support awareness of standardized approaches to renewable gas tracking.
