Quality Assurance is a core part of the International Tracking Standard Foundation’s (I-TRACK Foundation) mission to ensure Market Facilitators (Code Managers, Issuers, Registry Operators, and Platform Operators) operate in a way that is transparent, reliable, and aligned with the principles of the International Attribute Tracking Standard (Standard). Through structured Quality Assurance Surveys, the I-TRACK Foundation assesses how well Market Facilitators comply with the requirements of the Standard and associated Product Codes and gathers feedback from Market Players (Registrants and Participants) to help identify strengths and opportunities for improvement.

These quality assurance surveys typically combine both documentation-based review and stakeholder feedback, providing evidence-based insight into operational performance and compliance.

By publishing links to active surveys, relevant materials, and outcomes from completed assessments, this page supports transparency, fosters accountability, and demonstrates the I-TRACK Foundation’s continued commitment to maintaining high-quality tracking systems.

Open Quality Assurance Surveys

Accredited I-REC(E) Market Facilitators must perform their tasks in line with the requirements of the Standard and the I-REC Code for Electricity (I-REC Code). To ensure that I-REC(E) is of the highest possible quality, the I-TRACK Foundation conducts periodic Quality Assurance checks with all Accredited Market Facilitators 

These checks consist of two parts:

  1. A review of the Market Facilitators’ adherence to the International Attribute Tracking Standard and the I-REC Code  between the I-TRACK Foundation and the Issuer directly, and
  2. Collecting direct insights from Market Players through this survey.

As a recipient of services from one of these Market Facilitators, your feedback is essential. Your insights help us identify opportunities for improvement and ensure the quality and reliability of our services.

I-REC(E) Issuer Quality Assurance Surveys

The following Issuers are now undergoing the quality assurance process:

  1. Three Pillars Consulting,
  2. Foton Energy, and
  3. Energy Peace Partner.

The surveys for these Issuers will close on Tuesday, 7 April 2026, 9:00 CEST.
