Ecohz recently published an article examining the role of I-REC(E) in demonstrating renewable electricity consumption under the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). As part of its development, the publication included input from I-TRACK Foundation’s Executive Director, Jared Braslawsky, who provided clarification on how energy attribute certificates can support credible electricity-emissions accounting across global supply chains.
As CBAM guidance evolves, the I-TRACK Foundation continues to engage with stakeholders to ensure that tracking of renewable electricity remains transparent, reliable, and accessible internationally.
