Jen Wee is a pioneer of business models for Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) in Singapore. He is the Founder and CEO of REDEX, the developer and operator of Asia’s leading trading platform for RECs. Guided by Jen Wee’s vision, REDEX built a one-stop ecosystem that enables organizations to adopt renewable energy conveniently to meet their sustainability goals. The Group’s suite of innovative technological solutions aims to develop the REC market by facilitating REC asset registration, verification, trading, and retirement. REDEX was a winner of the 2023 Emerging Enterprise Sustainability Award in Singapore. Before establishing REDEX, Jen Wee had more than 15 years of experience in the solar renewable energy industry. He managed various portfolios in sales and equipment across Asia and developed and optimized business processes for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) businesses. Jen Wee is regularly invited as a speaker on renewable energy topics to business leaders and key opinion leaders at various forums including Singapore International Energy Week. He was also a panelist at the ONERHT Foundation GAIL Forum and USAID-ASEAN Promoting Green Innovation Workshop.
