Adam White
Adam White
Adam White is the Secretary-General of RECS Energy Certificate Association, a non-profit foundation representing the users of energy attribute certificates including renewable energy producers, traders, and consumers. As RECS’ Secretary-General, Adam works to:
1. Give organizations and individuals the knowledge, motivation, and confidence to buy 100% renewable energy;
2. Advocate for the development and implementation of legislation that supports and encourages renewable energy procurement, and;
3. Guide RECS’s strategic development and manage the planning and delivery of its programs and activities
Before joining RECS Adam worked for the WWF European Policy Office as a Senior Research Coordinator on Climate and Energy, and before coming to Brussels Adam worked as a researcher for elected members of the UK Parliament and the London Assembly.

Alasdair Were
Alasdair Were
Alasdair Were is Head of Environmental Markets at Abaxx Exchange and Clearinghouse a global commodity futures exchange and clearinghouse, based in Singapore.
Alasdair leads the development of a slate of environmental products focused on the commercial needs of the marketplace that enable for the creation of smart commodities and for the effective pricing of negative externalities. He is the former Director of Digital Climate Markets at the International Emissions Trading Association where he was involved in launching Climate Action Data Trust, a metadata layer for carbon markets in partnership with the World Bank and Government of Singapore. And prior to that he held several rules at trading houses across energy and agricultural markets. He has a bachelor’s in global business and a diploma in commodity trading from the University of Geneva.
Abaxx was founded in 2019 to address the lack of tools for effective price-risk discovery and transfer in increasingly volatile markets driven by a global energy transition, market structure issues, ESG mandates, and macro volatility. Abaxx develops products, systems, and tools to support the commercial needs of the global commodities industry; characterized by clear pricing signals, secure and fast executions, and effective price risk management to address our biggest challenges, including the energy transition. The initial product slate includes physically deliverable futures benchmark futures contracts and risk management tools for LNG, Carbon, and Battery Metals.

Alexandre Costa
Alexandre Costa
Postgraduate in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), specializing in the development and utilization of Industry 4.0 technologies. Postgraduate in Project Management from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV). Graduated in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and certified as a Green Belt in the Lean Six Sigma methodology. With 15 years of experience in large multinational industries in Brazil and abroad, specializing in manufacturing, maintenance, and sustainability processes. Currently acting as the LATAM Sustainability Specialist at Electrolux Group, focusing on energy efficiency and carbon reduction on manufacturing and supply chain processes

Alexandre Fachin
Alexandre Fachin
With 20+ years of experience in the environmental scenario, Alexandre Fachin has worked at Petrobras since 2001 as an environmental engineer. At Petrobras, he has served in several roles, including Corporate Environmental General Manager and Environmental Sustainability and Energy Efficiency General Manager. Nowadays, Alexandre is responsible for the Downstream Operations Decarbonization in Petrobras Climate Change and Decarbonization area.
Alexandre Fachin holds an MBA in Cleaner Production and Ecobusiness from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and an Executive MBA from COPPEAD/UFRJ, the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He has been a Chemical Engineer from the UFRGS since 1997.

Andreas Gunst
Andreas Gunst
Andreas is a Partner in the energy and infrastructure finance group of DLA Piper, one of the largest international law firms. He is a Member of DLA Piper’s energy sector and ESG leadership teams and part of the Legal500 and Chambers Global ranked and recommended for linear energy infrastructure projects (interconnectors, pipelines), renewable energy, and climate change work
Andreas has created various mandates setting up renewable energy support or certificate schemes, including for IREC, AIB, EBRD, WB, IBRD, GIZ, Energy Community, European Commission. He offers a diverse practice for sponsors, corporates, generators, and utilities for financially and physically settled PPAs, Route to Market Agreements, Balancing Services Agreements, BESS Dispatch and Optimisation Agreements.
Andreas has established market-leading work on biofuel, biomethane, and bioLNG, as well as RFNBO and hydrogen projects and offtake agreements as well as SAF and biofuel in-setting projects. He has extensive experience in offshore and onshore electricity transmission lines, interconnections, and allocation offices, including SwedPol, IFA 1&2, Nemo, BritNed, NorthConnect, NSL, Greenlink, Gridlink, Casa1000, Mavir – APG IC, Shetland IC, Icelink, SEECAO, TM-AF Interconnector
He has been external counsel to the European Federation of Energy Traders and (lead external advisors on EFET Power Purchase Agreement, Certificates Master Agreement, UK Allowance Appendix), RECS Energy Certificate Association, and the Hydrogen Council and previous long-standing Member of the Energy Charter Secretariat‘s Legal Advisory Task Force and the Expert Panel Member of Energy Community
Additionally, Andreas is a non-executive directive of EnergyTag, and an England & Wales and Ireland qualified, working across EMEA

Andressa Rodrigues Da Silva Lisbao
Andressa Rodrigues Da Silva Lisbao
Has extensive experience in major technology multinational companies and has been involved in project management focused on demand generation, acceleration, and structuring of sales operations and growth marketing for the B2B market in Latin America. With an MBA in Marketing from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), the executive has more than 18 years of experience in the Sales and Marketing field, being responsible for the growth of services related to software regularization, revenue protection, and intellectual property.
Today, leading the Certification and Sustainability department at Bureau Veritas, she plays an important role in supporting large companies that seek sustainable development, leading the provision of services related to ESG, Carbon, Green Bonds, Hydrogen, and other sustainability solutions.
Andressa also leads the delivery of Audit and Certification solutions in various sectors, such as food, automotive, chemical, construction, household products and equipment, mechanical, electrical, and technological.
With her expertise, she is now a reference in ESG, holding the position of the official spokesperson for Bureau Veritas in sustainability-related topics, organizational and social responsibility development, and renewable energies. Andressa has given interviews to major national media outlets and has signed press releases as a spokesperson for portals such as Canal Energia e Broadcast on Green Hydrogen, Canal Rural on cotton certification with social responsibility criteria, and Panrotas on ESG certification, BV ESG 360.
